Matt joined ILCHF in January of 2017. His role at the foundation includes supporting mental health and oral health grantmaking, facilitating internal and external evaluation processes, and engaging in dissemination of organizational activities and learnings. To his role at the foundation, he brings experience as an academic researcher (14 years), teaching research methods at the university level (5 years), leading interdisciplinary research teams, and publishing in peer reviewed journals using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods. Matt holds a Ph.D. and A.M. from the University of Chicago (Social Service Administration), M.S. from the University of California, Davis (Child Development), and a B.S. from Loyola University, Chicago (Psychology).
