Margaret Litwin, Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Margaret Litwin joins ILCHF as its Marketing & Communications Coordinator, bringing a variety of creative and collaborative experience to the team. She first became interested in philanthropic work through several mentors in her life, who taught her to aim high and to use her talents to make the world a kinder place. These notions, combined with interests in design, art, music, and events inspired Margaret to pursue a multifaceted communications degree at the University of Alabama.

While studying, Margaret thoroughly contributed to the campus and greater community, including membership in Kappa Alpha Theta and Kappa Kappa Psi chapters, appearances with the Million Dollar Band and Treble Choir ensembles, and volunteering with the city schools via the Teacher Cadets and Hands On Tuscaloosa programs. Through this involvement, Margaret was often responsible for localized marketing and outreach efforts. She received her BA in Communication Studies after submitting independent research exploring interpersonal disclosure and organizational affinity.

Margaret’s career began as a member, and shortly thereafter co-owner, of the AutoCraft Collective. Bringing together top talents in digital and social marketing from over 10 countries, she developed processes and programming to double retention and increase recognition across the content creator space. She additionally completed internships in the automotive and packaging industries, diversifying the scope of her communications skills into public relations, employee experience, and recruitment. Margaret is excited to return to her lifelong passion for philanthropy as part of the Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation team. Outside of her work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, and playing ukulele.
