COVID-19 Response Oral Health Capacity Building RFP

Proposals are due by July 31, 2020

Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation (ILCHF) and Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation (DDILF) seek to invest up to $3 million in grants for community dental clinics to offset the additional costs associated with re-opening their children’s oral health programs and address the gaps associated with lost revenue as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to preserve and sustain the oral health safety net system for children in Illinois, ILCHF and DDILF have created this funding opportunity.

Funded projects will be able to demonstrate successful strategies for addressing the challenges resulting from the pandemic designed to improve oral health outcomes for children in Illinois. They must be able to demonstrate efficiency in delivery of services, specifically in regards to addressing barriers created by geography, special needs, and/or race or ethnicity, integration of oral health and primary care and the ability to sustain their program once grant funding has ended.

We look forward to receiving your application.

COVID-19 SASS Children’s Mental Health Initiative

Proposals are due by July 10, 2020

The Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation recognizes the importance of sustaining the Screening Assessment and Support Services (SASS) children’s mental health providers while these providers respond to changes in the service environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Changes in service provision and referral volume have caused significant financial stress on SASS programs, which are required to maintain staffing levels to be able to respond to mental health crisis on a 24/7/365 basis. ILCHF invites SASS providers to apply for SASS general operating grants. ILCHF will make up to $1,500,000 in funding available for this initiative.
